Linux distros are supposed to be about personal choice, i.e. when you
shop in a supermarket you pick the type of bread or wine that you
like, it is about horses for courses. This is why Linux and open
source software can meet the needs of just not individuals but
business and enterprise environments where user requirements decides
what distro, database or application is required. This is called
versatility, it is only within a certain proprietary software land
that users get into a mindset that a specific operating system is a
panacea for user requirements. So there is nothing to argue about
really, just pick what you like and leave it at that.
