h2o (Well, fibrecity/i3) are indeed going ahead soon.

I was at the briefing with them not long ago and it goes sound good except they weren't able to answer many questions.

Unofficially? Sounds like it won't change much.

now, I think that probably means BT does not want to upgrade, or pay for the fiber installs around the country. So, how long can the flog copper wires to people and make a killing? who know, perhaps the next 50 years or so.
