Dont forget the back up system - tape, external hdd, off site etc.

Large hard drives / arrays are a night mare, your server capacity should not 
be greater than your backup media, otherwise you have to change the media 
part way through the backup. We have 240 PC's, and 2x160GB file servers, 
each file server backed up with its own tape drive.

Each file server has dual power supplies, with a pair of UPS's backing these 
up. Each UPS powers a power supply in each server.

And you thought it was all about cpu clock rates ;)
