It has been a while for news on the OLPC front, seemingly no-one is buying
OPLC's with the windows xp edition:
http://www.olpcnews.com/software/windows/nobody_buying_windows_xo_laptops.html
The new OLPC's being produced with feature a via proceessor, 1GB ram, 4GB to
8GB flash ram with a full Fedora 11 (Leonidas) desktop that includes Sugar
interface:

The Fedora 11 (codename Leonidas) will be released on the 2nd June 2009,
there are now looking for a name for the new Fedora 12 using the usual word
ladder association technique:

My contribution was Chiron:

O.K. probably not the best, but at least it was not dumb like calling it
Elvis or Pele (some people!!).
