The US Department of Justice and the FBI has made available an audit on
identity theft in trying to deal with cybercrime. The main critical point
made by the Inspector General was that there was no coherent leadership in
carrying out the objective to combat identity theft, meaning that there was
no person or office assigned with the responsibility of coordinating the
effort. In short the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing
because nobody was in charge i.e. no generals. Why can't they get themselves
organized?
