We play a variety of FPS (First Person Shooter) and RTS (Real Time Strategy) games. We run in the University on a seperate network devoted only to gaming and can support a large number of users (up to 47 currently). We even have our own specialised server now.

If you don't know where to go, just come to the front doors of the University just before 1830 where some committee members will show you where to go. You will have 30 minutes to get setup, but the committee should be ready, so if you're ready before 1900 a test game will be up for you to play around on. If you want to feel free to show up a bit early or even late, we're not fussed.

Hey there,
I have a feeling he meant UT2003, but I prefer 2004 anyway, so I'll
attempt to change it :D
As for Starcraft 2, I would really want this at the society, but
Blizzard removed LAN play in an attempt to crack down on piracy, so
people couldn't use services like Hamachi etc to play multiplayer, which
really sucks.
I'll be at the meeting tonight with the President (Paul) and Ian, who
was mentioned in the message above.
I must also mention that unfortunately, Windoze is required as there are
people in the society who do not use/understand Linux, and Windoze would
probably not like playing with Linux :D
Oh and if you have played Quake 3, I need someone to give me a challenge :)
