[dundee] Android battery life

Hello,
With some firmwares (though Windows Mobile) it can last for days on idle. Energy Rom seems to be decent these days.
Annoyingly one of my X1s is going in for replacement/repair for the 5th time - this time the ribbon cable has gone killing the mic/screen. Funny that because its barely out of the house in fact barely used at all. Not good since the warranty is up in December.
My other X1 has become a subject of the famous cracks in case problem.... while in storage!!
I hope to god we can claim something via the sale of goods act once the warranty is up.
Regards,
Sean McRobbie

Is terrible battery life (6-hours or so) common in Android, or is this an
Xperia X1 issue particularly? My real phone lasts for days without charging.
Yes, I've tried Aeroplane mode, etc., etc., but it makes no difference.
