Subject: [dorkbotalba-blabber] Dundee - what would you like to have
there?
Hello All
I'm in talks with a Dundee based education institute (I can't be more
specific at the moment) who are keen to help support and develop the
local hacker/developer community. They have space for a lab and
funding for equipment like rapid prototypers, PS3 "supercomputer" etc
and other equipment.
My questions to the list are:
Is there a demand for a lab Dundee, and how far would people travel,
and how often?
How often would access / meetings be ideal?
If you could have any equipment there, what would your dreams be? (can
be specific with URLs)
What kind of lab would you want in your dreams?
Would there be interest in having developers or experts on hand, what
kind, what lessons etc?
This is an opportunity to suggest anything you would really like to
see developed in Dundee.
You are also welcome to email me off list.
best regards
Martin
