Anyone who's ever used AmigaBASIC will understand why Microsoft didn't
go on to become a major developer for the platform. ;-) I used AMOS
quite a bit, and GFA BASIC and later the ACE compiler, but I don't think
I ever found AmigaBASIC of much use...

(Learning C, Python, Emacs and VIM on the Amiga made the transition to
Linux on a PC relatively painless, so it's vaguely on-topic!)
