I was immediately intrigued by its clever, no-frills design. But who really
needs 67 terabytes (or even
135<http://blog.backblaze.com/2011/07/20/petabytes-on-a-budget-v2-0revealing-more-secrets/>)
at home?
I decided to scale their excellent design down for home use, and after a
long period of experimentation, the Evercube was born.
