[dundee] Concerning mailman security

I seem to recall that when I signed up for the list I was notified that the password would be sent one a month via plain text, which is an alert that I have received from all the mailman lists that I have been on.  The result is that I choose  one of my generic unsafe passwords for mailing lists.
