Quantum Computing by Hamish Earp

The discovery of the observer principle in quantum mechanics presents
the security industry with a unique and unprecedented ability to
secure network communications. By using a fundamental law of quantum
physics network designers can assure any attempt to decipher network
data will result in a corrupt communication. Furthermore the
computational power of this discovery when coupled with Shor's
algorithm presents a real problem to all forms of current encryption
and ultimately leads the way to a new paradigm of thinking in computer
security. This talk aims to explain these fundamental principles in an
easy to understand manor and goes on to discuss the problems
manufacturers are having with the current implementation of this
technology.

6.30PM at The Burgh Coffee House.
