If you can set up a serial console to another machine?

Or maybe netconsole would be easier. I've used both and netconsole is
probably less hassle to set up.

You'll need to use the

linux netconsole=4444 at 10.0.0.1/eth1,9353 at 10.0.0.2/12:34:56:78:9a:bc

method, i.e, pass the 'netconsole=' stuff on the kernel command line in
grub.

Just shout if you have any problems with that.
