	Hmm, im having exactly the same problem. Im running KDE 2.1 or
Debian 3.0. It seems to occur when a Save dialog comes up on mine. I
would
be interested if you find a solution.

Turns out that my problem was related to both Gnome 2.0 and KDE. In the
end I did an update to Debian Sarge which solved the problem. I don't
know what the problem was, but it went away.
