-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Dear LUG members,
I am writing to ask if you would be interested in taking part in a
PGP key signing meeting.
I am a PGP / GnuPG user living in Newcastle. By searching Google and
the PGP keyservers, I found almost 300 keys with email addresses that
appear to locate their owners in the north east of England. If you
are no longer in the area (or never were in the first place!) then
please accept my apologies and ignore this message.
Very few of the keys I found have signatures from other keys, which
means there is no real 'web of trust' between these 'local' keys I

At this stage, I am simply gauging the level of interest in having a
meeting. If you think you might be interested, you will find a brief
form on the web site mentioned above.
If not, please disregard this email. I will not bother you further
about this, nor will I use your email address for anything else. I
hope you do not object to this one-off contact.
P.S. If you know of any other PGP / GnuPG users in the area who might
be interested, please forward this email to them.
