I've just converted most of my servers from gentoo to ubuntu. Used the
'server' directive during install.

sshd was not installed by default, but 'apt-cache seach ssh' revealed
open ssh packges, and a quick apt-get install <package> solves all my
issues. I was so impressed with it, that I've stuck it on my laptop.
I've dried linux on the desktop before, but wasn't that impressed. This
time i'm very happy. Wireless networking, opengl accelerated graphics,
sound card works, and all the tools I need to actually do some work.

I tried gentoo before on the desktop, but a subsiquent update broke
things, and on my desktop work machine, I don't have time for things to
break.

We'll see how it goes this time :)

Ubunto on the servers is more than happy too :)
