You may wish to try this instead.
Its xfdisk its no longer supported or being developed on, but its a
great piece of software, and its a drop in replacement for fdisk, try it
out, and see what you think of it.
Any questions feel free to ask, it can see all the linux partitions on
your harddrive whereas fdisk cannot.
