Dear folks,

Just to let you all know that the APTT's 'Introduction to Linux' course starts
again very soon. Some of you may remember this has run very successfully
twice before and seems to have been enjoyed by many LUG subscribers. The
course was designed by APTT in collaboration with TLUG members, and covers
most of the basic principles of getting started and working with Gnu/linux at
home.

The course is at:

Wallsend Peoples Centre, Memorial Hall, Frank Street, Wallsend NE28 6RN
Tuesday 10th October, 6.00 - 8.00 p.m. for 10 weeks (excluding the usual
school holidays)
Tutor: Andy White

This is an accredited course with the National Open College Network and
participants can work towards a Progression Qualification at Level 2 which is
part of the national qualifications framework.

The course tuition is free, but there is a £20 charge for accreditation costs.

If you're interested and want a place on this run please get back to me at:

secretary at aptt.org.uk

Further details about APTT and other courses we offer can be had at our
