[Durham] xl2tpd ipsec vpn

Hey guys

Was great to see you all at the last meeting - it has been too long since I was last there.

Im hoping theres an l2tp ipsec expert among us - as Im certainly not lol

Im looking for a way of showing details on users connected to my xl2tpd ipsec vpn Im running.

I have found the following

netstat -i | grep "ppp" | wc -l  

however this merely shows a number for the number of vpn users connected.  Ideally I would like to be able to show username, remote ip connecting from, ip given out by the vpn, and data volume thats flowing thru on a monthly basis.

Ive been googling this for quite some time now and not getting anywhere very fast :(

Ideally I would like to integrate these details with a php webpage that can make it all look and pretty for viewing etc (another project for me to learn about over the next few weeks as Ive never touched php yet lol)

If anyone could help I would be very grateful.
