Hi everyone,

I've got a room booked in the centre of Durham for two hours,
1100-1300 on Saturday August 6th: would anyone like to do anything
free software / digital rights related in that slot?

This was for the re-pute.it computer support club, but that's been
under-used recently and I need to find a way to re-invigorate it, so
until something better comes to mind, the room is already booked and
paid for and just needs making use of by our community.

There's wifi, power, whiteboards, access to a projector, and a cafe in
the same building. I'm quite happy to handle the "dealing with the
public" side of things, and help things to run smoothly, so if you're
uneasy about running an event, don't worry it will all be excellent.

Some ideas I had for things people might be up for doing:
 - an install-fest
 - a key-signing party
 - show us how to do something cool on your laptop
 - advertise a talk on "how the internet works" for the public
 - discover the joys of isolated networks with openwrt
 - free your android party

So yeah, let me know if you'd like to join in with anything like this,
if anyone wants to be the host / co-host or just contribute something,
I'm happy to help put it together with you.
