You can have as many surnames as you like, but there's only one Rab.

Meeting was a quiet affair even by Falkirk LUG standards. The mood was
brightened by the announcement of a second FLUG baby, due in 9 months
minus 2 weeks.

The technical talk centred around Umbrello UML Modeller, the thesis which
has caused shockwaves among Free Software developers or at least any which
come near me. Other topics included a discussion on how to ssh out into
the world when stuck at a windows machine behind a proxy (answer is to use
putty development version, tell is to proxy via proxy.example.com port
8000 and ssh into yourcleverbox.example.net port 443, naturally you need
sshd running on port 443 for this to work); a general confirmation that
Richard Stallman is the main man and the prospect of using terminal server
for an internet cafe in Menstrie.

Next meeting is on May 15th. May is a five Thursday month, so we're two
weeks before the SLUG meeting.

Also of interest is the Embra BCS debate on Wednesday 14th May..
"This house believes competition from Open
Source software benefits the entire software industry".

What a typical BCS title. Speakers are:
Mark Greatorex, .NET Developer Director for Microsoft UK
    and
Stephen=A0Tweedie, Linux developer
