[Falkirk] Server distro

I'm not entirely sure what the problem is to be honest, it was randomly crashing but there were no significant errors in the logs.
At the time of installing ubuntu on my server, it was about the time of 8.10, and I decided just to put that on. So when updates came round, I had just updated to the latest distro.
I may go back to Ubuntu in the future, and I'll take your advice in mind.
Thanks
Ross

Ross, you don't say specifically what problems you've been having with
9.10, could you perhaps elaborate?
In terms of deploying Ubuntu to servers (which is my default state), I
find it's best to stick with the LTS releases. I run 8.04 LTS on all my
servers and haven't had any OS-related problems in a long time. Perhaps
if you hang on for 10.04 LTS (due in April)?
