 Hi Guys,

 As some of you may know, our workplace is winding down.  With this in
 mind, it is my intention to offer most of our IT equipment to the
 list.

 Some of the items (PPC macs, miles and miles of Ethernet cable, etc)
 will be going for free, some items (PCs, Power-edge servers, etc) will
 have a cost attached.

 Can I have some general feedback on who is interested in attending,
 and dates/times when people would be free to do this treasure hunt..?

 Ian has kindly offered transport, but we would need firm numbers and
 some sort of meet in town then head up scenario as Ross will testify,
 we really are in *the middle of nowhere*.

 Prices for items which are being sold range from £5 for dell server
 RAM to £15 for the bay networks switches and up to an expensive £55
 for a dell optiplex GX620 x64 PC with XP.

 Can people respond on list, and we can get the ball rolling, as I am
 keen for fellow professionals/hobbyists to take as much of this stuff
 as possible before we break the remaining items down for scrap value.
