oh and thanks to Andrew for his help with sorting out what Free and Open 
actually mean.
experience has taught me that most of the punters i am trying to get to 
try GNU/Linux and/or FreeBSD don't really care about the OSS/FS debate 
until after they have tried it and got into what it all means, but i 
appreciate the discussion and advice.
the reason i rant is because i get frustrated.
christian at the gazette wanted something simple and i think that what i 
supplied him with was still too complicated for most readers.
anything in the future that requires publicity i will ask in deference 
either you or martin to provide.
