Hmmm... not sure what the rc file is called for bash (.bashrc perhaps??
ksh is .kshrc and csh .cshrc)

Alternatively, add the line

. path/env.ksh

..to .profile in your home directory. Don't forget the ". " at the
beginning... this means run in current session.
