Subject: [Glastonbury] Calendar manager and Outlook

Don't use Outlook, don't let your friends use Outlook and don't get
suckered into supporting Outlook calendar management.

There are (possibly) only three solutions:

Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 (and a good Windows admin)

SuSE/Novell OpenExchange - the Exchange server bit to which Evolution
would normally connect.

This (was) about $1500 for five licences or some such.

NEC OpenMail - bought from Hewlett Packard.
Also very expensive.

Alternatives:

Lotus Groupware/Notes from IBM - $$$$.

Novell/Ximian Evolution - free and an Outlook clone. Calendar should
work fine.

Mozilla Thunderbird - which has popup blockers/spam blockers and has an
extension to support the old Netscape iCal format. If you give them
Thunderbird, move them from IE to Firefox.

Evolution/Thunderbird/Firefox are all multi-platform i.e.
Mac/Windows/Linux.

HTH,

Andy
