if it was linux server + linux clients
i might do Kontact + kolab server
but as windows clients, either Aethera of thunderbird are the only
viable Email clients that do ical calendars
talking of roxing boxes
rox filer really rox
its SOOO fast

Thunderbird is still very much in beta, while it has some very nice
features,
I wouldn't give it to anyone's office staff just yet.
Firethingumy, however, rox my box ;-)
I assume you've already looked at korganizer ?
