No I bloody didn't - I did all that from the command line :) XEmacs
may, conceivably, make it easier to do all this with a mouse - but
never underestimate the potential need for a serial console / a 2400 
baud modem [9600 was more expensive - you had to dial Birmingham/Bristol
to get a line ... ]
