Thanks for the suggestions.  Devon was one of the tools I've heard the
mac crowd eulogising, but afaict the only version Devon sell is for
macOS X.  Leastways, I couldn't see a link for a linux version and
neither could google.

I do use vim from time to time. Usually to remind myself why I don't
use it more often :-)

Any other suggestions from other list members?
