Mailing list dead, as far as I can see.
Meetings not well attended BUT you're the only Linux group in
your area - it's winter etc.etc.

Leaflet drop in town? Linux install day? Linux experts on hand
in the Assembly Rooms? Kubuntu setups to run an internet cafe
for tourists/"folk"? O'Reilly bookstore at the next meeting
(the lady concerned brings books at 30& discount or so)?
Demo days to Strode students / Millfield?
Collaborative project? [Radio clubs often have a "club kit build"
with an expert on hand to help you build the chosen kit - the
LUGOG could do the same to build e.g. a router/firewall up from scratch
from old components - you get to keep what you build.]
