get your free subscription of the new(ish) tux magazine in pdf format.

also a request to martin to go into lugog site and make sure the mambo 
pages are not checked out.
i cannot edit any of the pages.

next lugog meeting will be on weds 9th of november 7 -9 pm in T1 @ St. 
Dunstan's.
the meeting this month saw new members arriving as well as familiar "LUs"
we looked at FLOSS on MACOS X ~ openoffice and X11, Blender and GIMP 
which all installed "a breeze".
we also discussed and worked on
* issues around XINE and CSS decryption to play DVDs,
* Knoppix 4.0 DVD was demo'd
* SUSE problems with Hardware
* Digital Camera USB configuration
* Thin Clients

as well as review "Just for fun" and the FAVE event in August. (another 
one is planned for next year).
whilst the meeting was in progress various downloads took place, 
thunderbird, ubuntu live cd for Apple, GIMP for LUs to take home.
