[Gllug] microATX experience

Anyone built or installed Linux on a microATX type PC?
I'm looking for a small, light, networked PC that can run Linux ( and also
dual boot to Windows 98 ).
Which microATX case and motherboard should I choose? I want to run this with
a flat panel screen ( Taxan 680 or similar ) or would a laptop be a better
idea - if so which laptop for Linux ( needs a network card )?
