[Gllug] eastern European characters in MySQL

I am not familiar at all with MySQL.  We are running it to host 
databases for out webhosting clients.

We are to start business in the Czech Republic and I did not know 
whether MySQL would cope natively with eastern european characters, or 
if there is anything I should be concerned about.

All of the DNS data is held in MySQL too so corruption of characters 
will quickly upset people ;-)
