Nooooooo!!!!!!!!!! I've been wanting to find an agency like this for
ages. I really pisses me off that agencies don't understand that Unix
is Unix, and if you know Solaris, the jump to AIX is pretty insignificant
at the end of the day, particularly if you have experience of a variety
of Unix flavours.

I've used virtually every Unix under the sun with the exception of Irix,
and yet last time I was looking for a job, I was turned down because
I didn't have any Irix experience. The fact that I've used SunOS,
Solaris, Linux, BSD, AIX, HP/UX, Tru64, DG/UX, Dynix/PTX, Ultrix,
Bull BOS, Xenix, SCO, and even fscking Coherent doesn't seem to come
into it. As far as their concerned, each Unix variant is a completely
separate skill, and unless you have several years experience with that
specific version, you can't do the job. Now with *some* jobs, like
partioning an E10K server, I can see the need for specific experience,
but for general Unix admin, it's *really* not necessary.

PS. Yes, it's 21:45 on Friday evening, and I'm still at work waiting
for our fscking Cisco "expert" to fix his fscking network so I can
do my work and go home. I'm not impressed. I've told my CTO that as
soon as our live date is out of the way, we're scrapping all the
Cisco gear and installing Linux routers and OpenBSD firewalls :-)
That way, at least there's a chance it'll stay up for more than
    5 minutes...
