I accept that they make very nice laptop computers - the Inspiron 8000
is really quite appealing in some ways. However I don't think they make
great desktop computers, I still think it's better to BYO.

This week I can build an 800MHz PC with 256MB RAM, DVD, nice monitor,
and all the rest for £640 inc. VAT. Dell wanted £830 for a worse spec.
