lspci - look for the UDMA100 controller. The most popular onboard UDMA100
RAID controller is the HPT370 (same driver as the HPT366). Look for a line
like this in the output:

00:13.0 Unknown mass storage controller: Triones Technologies, Inc. HPT366 (rev 03)

If you're using kernel 2.2, you can get it to work with the kernel, but
it'll only be in [extremely slow] PIO mode. Enough for an installation, but
crap for performance. Suggest to move to kernel 2.4.x.
