 Here comes my suggestion,

I've decided to lose my carnival virginity this year, I'm not going.
With lots of people abroad and some of the rest in Notting Hill, there`ll
be lots of parks mildly empty and quiet.

For once we can stop staring at square shapes, and hope the are some
 round ones out and about.

I'm not suggesting losing site of the beer churches, don´t want to
commit sacrilege. Not a kind of geeknic, either, I remember the last.

Just a bit of gracing around.

I'm suggesting, as I'm a half egoist bloke, my local ones, Hampstead
Heath, or Regents Park. Near the first one, on the east side of Primrose
Hill, Highgate Road there is a nice pub, 5 mins walking from the hill.

 Well, there you have it.

Good luck to those ones counting people in the carnival ... And to John
 too.

 See ya,

I´m off to the Heath ....
