I have just compiled iplog-2.2.3 downloaded from freshmeat, copied over
the config file I posted earlier, edited it simply to 'listen' to both
eth0 and eth1   (interface eth0,eth1), and kicked it off  with:
/usr/local/sbin/iplog.

It logs attempted connections to non-existent ports Ok, so I conclude that
it is functioning correctly.

If you want to give me a buzz on 01474 320000 Darren, I will happily compare
notes !!
