rxvt -e ssh user at remotehost
OK, so it's a bit of a flippant answer, but realistically, it could be
bound to a menu item or task bar button in Gnome/KDE. For more advanced
features (such as storing a "phone book" of available remote hosts) could
be implemented in a few hours in 100 or so lines of Tcl/Tk wrapped around
the rxvt call.
On a related note, does anyone know of any GUI scp clients for Windows?
We have a number of partners that we need to transfer files to securely.
We can put them on a secure server, but they don't necessarily have the
techincal expertise to be able to use pscp (a command line DOS client)
reliably to grab them from that server.
