For those that have difficulty licking envelopes they may want to try
www.stand.org.uk where you can fax your MP.  

It might be worthwhile getting SuSE and Red Hat and others talking on
this to try to start the stone rolling on why there has been no tender
for the multi-million pound purchase of desktop software.  Something
similar to that which Red Hat has been doing for the DSSS thingy (you
know the one that Disney are supporting)
