[Gllug] FOSDEM 2002, Brussels

Earlier this year, in February, a party of intrepid
GLLUGers visited Brussels for the first OSDEM. (Open Source Developers
meeting.)

The guy who organised it said he expected 20 geeks from Belgium to turn
up.
On the day, 250 people from all over the world came.
Including RMS himself, who was subject to a famous
handbagging by our very own Alice.
Well, he DID say that any female geeks were likely to be men in drag!

So I now hear that OSDEM is being repeated in 2002 
and yes RMS hasn't been put off.

I expect to see a good turnout, and some serious sampling of the Belgian
beers.So put 16th-17th February 2002 in your diaries next year.
