yes, i know about that, but does mutt know to look for the recovery
files? pine with pico spots them, and will let you know about them the
next time you try and compose a message. save you having to go fishing
arround for them

not sure what you mean by that. can you elaborate?
i connect to a shell server using ssh over a dialup, to read my email, i
cant see ow running screen at the local end or far end will make much
difference.
