[Gllug] Adaptec 7896 drivers

Does anyone have an idea where I can source Linux drivers (Red Hat &.x) for
the Adaptec AIC7896 SCSI adaptor? This is an onboard scsi adaptor on the
Intel L440GX motherboard. Unfortunately Adaptec say goto Intel & Intel
refers you back to Adaptec.

I have tried to disable the adaptor in the bios (unfortunately no settings
on the motherboard itself), to no effect as it is still seen when I try to
install Linux.

Have been through the normal searches on google, altavista, etc, etc all
with no success.
