i use one of these on my desktop, and its good, and i have found
only one gotcha...

if you have one machine with out a mouse on it, ie no cable from the
server to the KVM switch, the switch hangs... its a bugger on older 1U
rack boxen that have no mouse port ...

but there is a ps/2 laptop mouse/keyboard dual port thingy that
works like a baught one! =)
