That is easy if you know what pppd does/is, know what an AT command
does/is and so on. I can think of many things that are easier to do on
the commandline, but putting together a connect-script for ppp isn't one
of them. (Maybe I am just spoilt with debian's pppconfig utility...)

"vimtutor" is a nice app. It comes bundled with vim.
