I asked the following question of the home office RIP bill team.

Suppose Reggie Kray is released. He's served 30 years, and wants to go
straight. Then he forgets an encryption password, and is raided, and
asked to decrypt the material.

What defence does he have?

The home office lawyer just laughed, and said he'd go back to jail.

It isn't zero reason. It's on the basis of his previous reputation. 
But that doesn't make me happy.
