Sorry to spam out the list: just had a word with another netalker.

It's Sharity, not DAVE (that's the OS 9 Windows thing) - 
interestingly Sharity turns SMB servers into NFS so OS X can see it.

Martin also says the netatalk developers are well aware of the OS X 
problems but now have apple's support and will get it fixed for 1.5.

His other tip is to subscribe to the list and filter out everything 
but emails from .de as the Germans are always right, for some reason.
