Haven't seen a response, so...

I don't know of any mailing lists about C.  On usenet, I know there are
comp.lang.c, comp.lang.c.moderated, and alt.comp.lang.learn.c-c++.

Of these, comp.lang.c.moderated tends to be fairly low volume,
newbie-asks-question, and the responses.

The others were extremely high volume, but that may have changed.

There are other resources which are good, depending on what you want to
use C for.
