Not wanting to go into the "how to use grep£ argument again but:
[steve at julia steve]$ cat /var/log/httpd/fractalus.com/access_log | grep 
signal | wc
    144    2543   24799
[steve at julia steve]$ cat /var/log/httpd/fractalus.com/access_log | grep 
signal | grep MSIE | wc
     71    1262   12010

so about 50%...
