[Gllug] Help with KDE Grief

Hi folks, I have finally built my new cave, installed SuSE 7.1, updated
on line, brought down latest kde2 rpms and installed.  Everything is
just peachy except when I startx as root I get an ugly messagebox
telling me 

'You are currently logged in as root, you have not the default desktop
(sic), please logout and login as a user.  Click ok if you do not care
about your data.'

I click ok and everything seems fine, is there anyway I can get rid of
this eyesore?
